Confirm what it is
PackLox reads the name and the details it can see, such as set, number, year, character, or condition, for you to review and correct.
Price it from the market
The value comes from a connected pricing catalog, with its source and the date PackLox last checked.

The AI identifies. It never sets the price.
Recognition can be assisted by AI, but a number has to be backed by real market evidence. PackLox is built to be honest when the data is strong — and just as honest when it isn’t.
You can see how sure the match is
A scan shows a confidence meter. A catalog result or a saved item says Close match, Partial match, or Weak match when the match is not exact. An exact match stays quiet.
Every value names its source
A price names its provider, such as PriceCharting. It shows the provider’s currency when that differs from yours. The date is when PackLox last checked, or when the price last changed.
“Unavailable” is a real answer
When evidence is weak or missing, PackLox says so and explains why. It will not fill the gap with a generated number or a guessed photo.

Does PackLox ever make up a price?
No. If there isn’t strong enough market evidence for an item, PackLox shows an honest “unavailable” state instead of guessing. That’s a hard rule in every category, not a fallback.
What does the AI actually do, if not set the price?
It identifies what you scanned: the name and the details it can see, such as set, number, year, or condition. Pricing always comes from a connected catalog’s real market data.
What happens to my photos and data?
Saved records belong to your account. From the portfolio you can export a CSV or a PDF. You can also request a full copy of your account data, or ask for the account to be deleted.
